Our pacemaker and defibrillator clinic provides routine device testing and a 30 day event monitoring service.
EVENT RECORDER MONITORING SERVICE
The recorder is comfortable and easy to use for patients needing long term ambulatory monitoring.
Patients have the ability to send a pre recorded cardiac event 24 hours a day. When a patient feels a symptom, a simple press of a button records and stores the ECG surrounding the event. The recorders hold from one to six recordings at a time. The patient sends the stored data to a telephonic ECG receiver in our office. The data is then reviewed by your doctor.
PACEMAKER AND DEFIBRILLATOR SERVICE
Periodic testing of your pacemaker/defibrillator will make sure that it is functioning properly, it also evaluates lead performance, battery longevity and data analysis. In addition to our office testing we can provide telephone monitoring (transtelephonic monitoring) from the comfort of your home.
