Patient Testimonials
In February of this year, I saw a medical news item on Bay News 9 about Dr. Merrill A. Krolick, FACC, FACP, FACCP, Interventional Cardiology, Nuclear Cardiology, Non-Invasive Cardiology and a new medical procedure that he was using with great success on people with P.A.D. and he did this at Largo Medical Center, a place that we were now very familiar with because of my wife and her breast cancer issues. I began to watch more on this procedure since walking had become very difficult for me and I needed to use a cane everywhere I went and a wheelchair to move about the hospital when my wife was there. Something that always confused the staff there as to which of us was the patient but they were always very accommodating and helpful.
In early April, I saw that Dr. Krolick was having a seminar at Largo Medical Center regarding this new procedure, I signed up to attend and was tested while there. I went home and immediately called Dr. Krolick’s office for an appointment which was scheduled for the following Thursday. At the appointment, I was scheduled for surgery on my right leg the following Monday and my left leg the next Monday after that. They were both day-surgery procedures and recovery was swift.
To my amazement, within a few days of the final surgery, I was able to stand and walk unaided. I hadn’t been able to walk for several years, so my initial stamina was not great, but I was pain free. I now take short walks around my neighborhood and no longer grab for the nearest shopping cart when I go to the store.
I would like to thank Dr. Krolick and the staff of Largo Medical Center for my amazing recovery. We have both told everyone that will listen how pleased we are with this Diamondback 360 PAD procedure or “roto-rooter” procedure as we like to call it has worked for me.

I had to take the time to write to you in regards to the above. It took me 30 years to get my husband to go to a doctor, and I feel as if God took me by the hand and led me to Dr. Dagher and Terri. They have got to be, not only 2 of the most knowledgeable people I have ever met, but if you look up kindness in the dictionary, their pictures will be there.
They made us feel so welcomed and treated us like people, not just numbers. They took time to explain things to us and followed up on everything they did. I have referred more people to your practice because of these two individuals. I could go on and on about them.
You had to have hand-picked these two, and if you didn’t, then God shined upon you the day He sent them to you!

I wanted to send a note, to let you know, I feel HAVI’s Venous Team is wonderful. I was in for a procedure this past week and could not have asked for a more compassionate, caring team of professionals. I work with a caring team and I know how important it is to make patients feel that they are the most important person of the moment as well as post-operative.
Believe me when I say this is what Dr. Camp, Eric and Marybeth has done for me. I felt I was in the best of hands. They are so very knowledgeable and professional as well as personable and conscientious. They are very special people.

To Dr. Steinhoff: Thank you many times for saving my life. I never thought I'd have heart problems. There are five of my siblings who passed away because of smoking. Also two who didn't reach 50 years. My dad was 50. They had many problems before death. I have one brother who is in his late 70's - he did stop smoking about 15 years ago. Just that my problem is getting old, now 84.
Thanks to you, Blanche T.
