The Heart and Vascular Institute is actively recruiting patients for the following research studies:

 - Atrial Fibrillation

• Can be already on anticoagulation (Coumadin or Warfarin)
• Just started anticoagulation or getting ready to start
• Unable to take anticoagulation due to allergy or too difficult to manage the medication
• Refusing to take anticoagulation

- Coronary Artery Disease Prevention

- Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)

- Acute Coronary Syndrome

• Recently Hospitalized for unstable angina or a myocardial infarction/heart attack

- Implantable Devices

• Pacemakers
• ICD's  ( Internal Cardiac Defibrillators)
• Bi-V's  ( BiVentricular Device)

- Coronary Stents

- Peripheral Stents

- Cholesterol Management
